Drywall and ceilings
Replacing flood cuts and damaged sections, then taping, texturing and painting to blend with the rest of the room
Home · Water Damage Repair & Reconstruction
Once the house is dry, it still has open walls, missing baseboards, bare slab where the floor used to be, and maybe a ceiling with a hole in it. Aqua Revive’s water damage repair in Boca Raton puts it back the way it was: drywall, trim, flooring, cabinets and paint, matched as closely as the original materials allow. The work is done under a Florida-licensed contractor, and nothing is closed up until the drying log says it’s dry.

A lot of Boca homes have tile, stone or hardwood that’s no longer made. We try to source a match first. If that’s not possible, we’ll tell you plainly and talk through options, such as replacing a whole continuous floor area so it looks uniform.
Most associations require approval before contractors start, a certificate of insurance, set working hours, elevator reservations, and sometimes approved flooring with sound underlayment for upper floors. We handle that paperwork with your manager.
Homes built before 1978 may have lead-based paint, and the EPA’s Renovation, Repair and Painting rule applies when we disturb painted surfaces in them. Older popcorn ceilings and joint compound can contain asbestos. We test suspect materials before cutting into them.
Some repairs, especially electrical, plumbing, structural or larger renovation work, need a permit from the City of Boca Raton or your town. The licensed contractor pulls it; you shouldn’t have to.
Gate access, HOA architectural rules and contractor registration are handled before the first day of work.
Final moisture readings must meet the dry standard from your drying log. Closing up a wet wall seals in the next mold problem.
A written, itemized scope of every repair, room by room, in the line-item format insurers use. Upgrades you choose are priced separately.
Matching or replacement materials, flooring, paint colors and cabinet finishes are confirmed with you before ordering.
Condo or HOA approval and any city permits are in place before work starts.
Insulation, drywall, trim, flooring, cabinets and paint, in that order, with your home protected and cleaned daily.
You check everything with us before final sign-off, and the punch list gets done.
Often, yes, by sourcing the same product or a close match, or by refinishing hardwood across a whole room so new and old boards blend. When an exact match isn’t available, we’ll show you options before anything is installed, and document it for your insurer.
Yes. Many owners take the chance to change flooring or cabinets. The insurance-covered repair and your upgrade are priced as separate line items, so the claim stays clean and you only pay the difference for what you chose.
It depends on how much was removed, material lead times and building approvals. A single room with drywall and baseboards can be quick once materials are in. Kitchens, whole floors, custom cabinets and special-order tile take longer, and condo approval can add time before work begins. We give you a written timeline once selections are made.

It depends on the work. Cosmetic repairs may not need one. Electrical, plumbing, structural and larger renovation work usually does. The licensed contractor checks the City of Boca Raton’s or your town’s requirements and pulls any permit needed.
Yes, and it often saves time, because the team already knows exactly what was removed and why. You’re free to use any licensed contractor you choose, though. If you do, we’ll hand over the moisture records and scope.
We send your manager the scope, schedule and certificate of insurance, follow the building’s working hours and elevator rules, and use approved materials such as sound underlayment where required. Approval timing varies by building.
We look for an exact or close match first. If there isn’t one, the usual options are replacing the whole continuous area so it looks uniform, or using a transition at a natural break such as a doorway. We document it for your insurer either way.
No. A musty smell usually means moisture or mold remains. We check readings and, where needed, arrange mold assessment and clearance before anything is closed up.
Often, yes, especially when work is limited to a few rooms. A full kitchen or whole-floor rebuild can make staying difficult. Ask your insurer whether your policy includes additional living expenses.
